Welcome to Hane Photography

Our studio is available late afternoon and evenings, Monday though Friday. Weekends are when we do most of our photography. Contact us for an appointment or pricing information. Here is what we offer
Call us and make an appointment for studio time. We will take some time to listen to what you have to say and what kind of images you are looking for. We can gain some knowledge about your personality and style. We will apply this to the look we are trying to capture in your photo shoot. You can also ask us any questions you might have about the studio session. Also at this time we will discuss desirable clothing combinations and colors so we can coordinate everyone in the pictures. We can shoot High Key and Low Key portraits, and create special lighting effects to accentuate your desired look.

Studio session day
Bring any personal items that you would like to use as possible props such as toys, sporting equipment etc. You can choose from one of our many studio backgrounds.
We will take as many pictures and poses as time allows and make sure that you have a relaxed, fun experience. We will ask you to sign a model release form to allow us to post your session images online. If you are bringing any pets please keep them crated and a little bit hungry. We have found that they usually react better to treats when prompted. For best results we photograph the pets at the end of the shoot. No extra charge for pets!

A few days after the shoot you can look at your images online so you can pick out your favorite poses and decide what sizes of prints to order. We recommend ordering directly from our website, we can provide you with the order forms. This is the fastest way to order your enlargements. If you need printed “proofs in your hand” expect a turnaround time of at least 2-3 weeks to pick up your proofs. There will be a deposit required to take the proofs with you. Your proofs can be purchased along with your order. After you submit your completed order form along with a payment of 50% of the total, your prints will be ready within two weeks. We have the capability to rush your order through if you have a deadline to meet, ask us about it.

We compose and capture timeless images of children, families, pets and more. Our photographs are printed on durable colorfast Kodak Professional Endura photo paper for an expected life in excess of one hundred years. Our pictures are not low quality inkjet or laser home computer prints. Our prints are ready for framing and available in many sizes. We use professional studio strobes and backgrounds with many posing options. Weather permitting; we will shoot on location in the great outdoors. Call or write us a note today!

Photography is the combined passion of a husband and wife team consisting of Melissa and Stephen Hane. Together, they work to enrich their clients' lives through the art of photography. Melissa and Stephen sometimes have different perspectives on photography, which they utilize to the benefit of their clients. They are also somewhat competitive amongst themselves which continually redefines and enhances their work.
